About Mila
Mila catches your eye the moment you see her—one stunning blue eye and one vivid green. Fewer than 1% of cats have heterochromia, and Mila’s gaze is truly unforgettable. Her story starts in a broken home: a hoarding case, with nearly ninety other cats, where affection was hard to come by. She found temporary sanctuary at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter before ARF Hamptons and her bonded friend Gavin stepped in to offer new hope. The two landed a home together, but after two years, life took another hard turn and they came back to the rescue in July 2025. It’s clear Mila has a gentle soul shaped by the chaos she’s survived. She’s quiet, tender, and still trusts, despite all that’s happened. Mila is searching for someone drawn to her rare eyes and steady spirit—and who has room for her loyal companion Gavin. She’s ready for a fresh start, this time permanent. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
