Lexi is a true southern belle. She is so sweet and gentle and seems to have some inclinations toward people that might make her a good therapy dog prospect. She will lay for hours on the sofa. She is also a hound, and will search the yard for critters like its her job, hasn't caught anything so far. She is also quite athletic and can leap on a counter silently in a single bound. Only happened once, someone had given her a burger they had warmed in the microwave, she knew that's where it came from, and went directly to it, did I mention she was smart. While we are working on her in house skills, it is pure joy to watch her run and leap over things in the yard, so she may also be a good agility dog prospect too. I'd recommend a fence since she is a hound, but she likes kids and mature people, as well as other dogs. Lexi is between 2 and 3 years old and was found in South Carolina last month during the Nor'easter and King Tide running through flooded roads during the storm. So if you are looking for a medium to large dog with a gentle disposition and a free spirit, look no farter.
