About Venus
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Venus truly is out of this world when it comes to adorableness! Alongside her siblings, she was found in the countryside searching for warmth and safety until caring hands brought them to a loving shelter. Venus is an adult Shepherd mix, about 4 years old, and will likely reach 55-65 lbs fully grown. With her stunning red and chestnut coat of medium length, she’s undeniably sweet, smart, and always ready to play. Though initially shy in new environments, with some time, gentle encouragement, and a little TLC, Venus blossoms into a devoted companion. She would thrive in an active household eager to share long walks, fun park adventures, and plenty of cuddle time after family dinners. Venus would benefit from basic leash training and manners, but being young at heart, she’s ready to learn and grow with her forever family. She’s looking for a loving home that can provide ample playtime, mental stimulation, and a treasure trove of toys. If you can offer patience, affection, and the commitment of family life, Venus promises to reward you as a loving and loyal addition to your home. Fun fact: With a January 1st birthday, Venus is a Capricorn—a sign known for loyalty and perseverance! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
