The rescue didn't hesitate—his injured leg got a consult in Naples and a major surgery for proper healing, followed by a long, committed recovery. Liberty can be selective around other dogs, often showing a preference for females, and he's still learning to trust strangers, but this work is ongoing. He shines with older kids and adults, but he isn't a good fit for homes with cats, young children, or most other dogs.
