About Rainbow
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Rainbow is a lovely girl who first arrived at the shelter as a stray in tough shape and expecting puppies. She quickly proved herself to be a wonderful, attentive mother, caring deeply for her pups until they were ready for homes of their own. Now that her mothering days are behind her, Rainbow is eager to find a forever family she can call her own. She tends to be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she reveals her sweet and trusting nature. Rainbow does best with adopters who are willing to go slowly and show her the world isn't so scary. She's a fantastic companion on walks and walks nicely on a leash. Rainbow also knows how to sit and takes treats from your hand with impressive gentleness. When it comes to other pets, Rainbow can be nervous around other dogs and would benefit from very slow, monitored introductions if joining a multi-dog household. She is not comfortable around cats and needs a feline-free environment. She would also thrive in an adult-only home, where her timid nature will be respected and she can blossom at her own pace. Fun fact: with a birthday in late February, Rainbow is a compassionate and gentle Pisces, making her an even more affectionate companion at heart. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
