About Pitty
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Pitty is a beautiful black and white girl who has come so far from her difficult beginnings. Surrendered pregnant and battling heartworm, she faced more than her fair share of challenges, but she has persevered—completing treatment and now heartworm negative, she’s healthy, happy, and ready to leave "mom life" behind. Pitty has blossomed into the perfect mix of playful and calm, loving everything from nice walks to snuggling on the couch. She’s learned her basic manners, including how to sit and take treats gently. While she can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, Pitty warms up with just a bit of time and patience. She’s shown plenty of friendly, playful energy around other dogs and is curious, though ultimately indifferent, to cats. To best set her up for success, Pitty will need a home without small children where her gentle, loving spirit can truly shine. Born September 12, Pitty is a Virgo—she’ll bring thoughtful intelligence and loyalty to her new family! Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Pitty
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pit Bull Terrier mixes thrive in a loving home environment where they get plenty of attention, mental stimulation, and exercise. They do well in both houses and apartments as long as they have daily activity and bonding time with their family.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A Pit Bull Terrier mix benefits from having access to a fenced yard, but they don't require a large amount of space. Regular walks and playtime at parks can also meet their needs if you don't have a yard.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pit Bull Terrier mixes can be wonderful family companions. With proper socialization and supervision, they can do well with children—though active supervision and teaching children how to interact kindly with dogs are always recommended.
