About Joey

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Joey, the biggest, sweetest boy this side of the Mississippi. Joey was found as a stray and taken in by a kind stranger, but despite efforts, no one came forward to claim him. Joey is a BIG boy—with a big head and an even bigger heart! Friendly, affectionate, playful, energetic, and silly, Joey is a young Pit Bull Terrier mix at about 3 years old and weighing around 75 lbs (although he could stand to lose a few pounds—he sure loves to eat!). Due to his size and high energy, Joey would not be comfortable in an apartment. He is best suited for a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play freely. Regular walks and lots of playtime are key to keeping him happy. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
