Italian meaning: Apple Tabby Facts: Tabby is a coat pattern, not a breed. Characterized my stripes, spots, or whorls and the distinctive "M" mark on the forehead. Tabby Patterns: Classic, Mackerel, Spotted, Ticked and Patched Social and Affectionate Intelligent and Curious Adaptable and Loyal Approximately 80% of domestic cats today have some form of tabby marking. ALL orange cats are tabby's. This sweet girl is Mela, she was the mom of 3 biological kittens and 5 foster kittens. Mela was an amazing mom, and is still waiting for her fur-ever home. All her kittens and foster kittens have been adopted. Mela is a 1-year-old brown tabby with a short coat and stunning green eyes. Mela is a sweet girl. She loves napping and snacking. Mela gets along great with roommates. She pretty much stays to herself and doesn't really cause any issues. Mela likes attention and will search you out for pets. (She LOVES being called a pretty girl.) Mela is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Mela would be good by herself, but she would also be good with another feline friend.
