About Mela
Mela is a young brown tabby with beautiful green eyes and a soft, short coat, known for her calm and quietly affectionate nature. She did a stellar job as a mom, raising three of her own kittens and helping five others get their start, and now every one of them has been adopted. Mela has settled into rescue life for over 160 days, showing herself to be easy company—she gets along with both cats and dogs, though she mostly keeps to herself. She's happiest napping or snacking but will come looking for pets when she's in the mood, especially if you call her a pretty girl. While she'd be content as an only cat, Mela wouldn’t mind a feline roommate. Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, she’s just waiting for someone to notice her gentle spirit. Mela is in Shell Lake, WI. Ready to make her part of your family? Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
