About Honey
Honey is a large, senior Siamese/mixed breed cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She first found a home in 2022 but came back to the shelter when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Transitioning back hasn’t been easy, but beneath her sassy exterior, Honey is warming up to the staff and volunteers. She’s roaming freely through the adoption building, working on her fitness, and making friends in her own time. While she’s quick to let you know when she’s not interested in attention, she’ll meow and approach people she likes—sometimes even asking for pets on her terms. Honey needs a patient adopter committed to helping her lose weight and manage daily care, including some occasional additional cleaning and regular brushing to avoid matting. She must be the only cat in the house and doesn’t tolerate dogs at all. Children are fine if they’re old enough to respect her boundaries and give her space when she needs it. Honey is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
