About Bowie
Bowie is a chill, easygoing guy ready to become someone’s loyal companion. He landed at the rescue after a stint as a stray, where he briefly crashed with a college student and three Chihuahuas—proving he can keep the peace with little dogs. That student saw something special in Bowie and wanted him to get all the attention he deserves. While there, Bowie picked up house training with a doggy door. He’s good with everyone he meets and gets along with some other dogs, especially small ones. Bowie knows his basics and wants to please, which makes life with him pretty straightforward. He’s around 50 pounds, has a medium brown and tan coat, and was likely born in 2018. He really lights up outside—playing ball or heading out for a walk is his idea of fun, and he has a uniquely loud, funny bark when he’s excited. Bowie’s happiest when he’s got space to romp, so a home out of the city, with room to run, would suit him best. He’s closely bonded to his kennel mate Tommie and would love to be adopted together if possible. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
