About Glenn
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Glenn! Glenn is a 2 1/2-year-old Shepherd/lab mix who weighs about 80 pounds at full growth and is looking for his forever home. Glenn can be hesitant around new people and requires multiple introductions to warm up, but once trust is established, he becomes an incredibly loving and playful companion. He entertains himself with toys such as balls, benebones, and Kongs, often emptying the toy basket in search of fun. Glenn enjoys sunbathing outdoors and loves being close to his people. He is extremely smart and treat motivated, having completed obedience clicker training and responding well to several verbal and hand commands, including "sit," "down," "break," "come," and "place." Glenn is both potty trained and kennel trained. He does best in a patient and understanding environment, ideally with adopters willing to provide encouragement, enrichment, and continued confidence-building. Because Glenn takes time to trust new people, a home without kids is best for him. While he's leash trained, he needs further training when encountering other dogs or people on walks, so a fenced yard is required at this time. Though he's made progress with puppies, Glenn should be the only dog in the home due to his resource guarding with toys and food. Continued training will help him reach his full potential in a secure, loving environment. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
