About Chance
Chance is a senior Boxer who was found wandering alone in rural Kentucky and brought to safety by a caring group of people. After a full vet workup, deworming, and being neutered, he settled into foster care and has shown just how much he loves the comfort of a home. Heās the definition of a Velcro dogāwherever you go, he wants to be nearby. He thrives on being in the same room as his person and prefers napping in the sunshine if he knows you're close by. Most of the time, though, he lets you know when he needs to go out and is quick to finish his business, always eager to return inside. Chance is friendly with other dogs and is curious about cats, though the household catās not yet sure about making friends. He loves visitors, and while not yet tested with kids, he hasn't shown any trouble with meeting new people. Heās house trained, crate trained, and walks easily on leash. Chance doesnāt surf kitchen counters or chew on trashāheās polite and well-mannered, even taking treats gently from your hand. He does have one quirk: he will happily drink from the toilet if you forget to close the lid! Chanceās laid-back, low-key personality is perfect for someone seeking a steady, calm companion. Heās happiest with people who like a mellow dog who just wants company more than thrills. Click apply to start the adoption process.
