Found bravely wandering in the middle of the road in rural eastern Kentucky, this lovely pup was rescued by kind-hearted good Samaritans who couldn't just walk by. After being rescued, he was taken to the vet for a checkup, where they made sure he was microchipped and neutered—because every pet should have a forever home! He had a little war with intestinal parasites (those pesky hookworms), but with proper deworming, he’s on his way to feeling fabulous again! His bloodwork was surprisingly good for an older gentleman, proving that age is just a number! 🎉 Currently at the clinic, Chance is getting all the love and attention he deserves while we learn more about his unique personality. So far, he’s let us know that his ears and paws are off-limits for messing around—this boy knows what he wants! 🐾 He’s great at going in and out of the kennel, showing us that he still has some pep in his step! Now, let’s talk about those golden years—Chance may have some hearing and sight issues, but that only adds to his charming character!
