About Sonny
This could be the start of something paw-some. Sonny arrived after being found as a stray, and his path to trusting people has been a slow but rewarding process. He’s gently starting to open up, revealing the devoted and affectionate friend he’s destined to become. Sonny possesses a big bark and tends to be cautious, so his caretakers are helping him gradually build confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Given his hesitance around new people, Sonny will benefit from several meet-and-greets to develop a genuine bond with his adopters. It’s not yet known how he feels about other dogs or cats, so any introductions should be handled thoughtfully. For now, a home without children is recommended for Sonny, ensuring he has the calm and predictability he needs. A securely fenced yard is required, giving Sonny a protected space to decompress and become comfortable at his own pace. If you feel ready to help Sonny blossom, he’s waiting to meet you. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
