Azorra is a young female Husky with a medium build and medium-length coat. She is not yet house trained and lives in Old Westbury, NY. Azorra is not spayed yet and does not have special needs, making her suitable for an adopter who can provide structure and lots of active play.

About Azorra

Azorra came up north after being rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, arriving with a broken pelvis that was fully treated at Gold Coast Animal Hospital in Huntington, NY. After months of rehab, she bounced back without missing a beat. Azorra is just past her first birthday and still very much a high-energy, youthful Husky who always seems ready for the next adventure. She thrives around other dogs, but does not get along with cats. While not aggressive, she can nip, so she isn’t a match for homes with children. What Azorra wants most is an active family that can keep up with her playful energy and give her plenty of attention and time outdoors. She is not yet house trained, and will need a patient adopter willing to keep working with her routines. Azorra is in Old Westbury, NY and ready for someone serious about commitment. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Huskies like Azorra need a decent-sized, secure yard or access to large outdoor areas for daily running and play. They are not well suited for apartment life unless their exercise needs are met.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

While Huskies are generally friendly, Azorra is not recommended for homes with children because she is known to nip. For her, an adult-only household is required.
