Stitch
AvailableStitch is a medium-sized, adult neutered male pit bull/shepherd mix with short apricot, beige, white, and cream fur. At six years and five months old, he's matured into a gentle companion and is currently living in North Haledon, NJ. He's not only house trained but has also benefited from expert guidance with a behavior trainer. Stitch's vaccinations are up to date, and he brings together a blend of both energy and an easygoing spirit.
About Stitch
Stitch is that rare mix: a true couch potato who still jumps up for playtime and thrives on being near his people. As a pit bull/shepherd mix with those signature upright ears, he charms just about everyone. He was adopted as a puppy and lived with his previous family for two years, only to be returned to the rescue right before they welcomed a baby. Volunteers had to find space for him at Hope's Home, so he's now living with Scout and currently bunking in the living room. Stitch is an outdoorsy soul—he loves walks, hiking, birdwatching, or just catching rays in the sun. He'd be happiest with a yard where he can do his signature zoomies. While he started out shy from not getting out much in his last home, regular walks and outings have helped him gain confidence. At the moment, Stitch lives with a behavior trainer, which means you'll benefit from some solid groundwork day one. He’s shared space with other dogs, but really prefers to soak up human attention as the only dog in a home—he comes alive with a devoted, dog-savvy person or couple who can provide a calm, low-traffic environment. That’s where he really shines. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
