His playful and social personality really shines when he’s around other dogs.
About Joey
Joey’s mom is a Yellow Lab and his dad is a Border Collie, giving him a friendly spirit and a playful personality. Born in February 2024, he’s about 50 lbs with a medium-length coat that’s a striking mix of black and cream. Joey currently lives with several other dogs and warmly gets along with all of them—he especially loves playing with his canine foster sisters. He thrives in the security of a fenced yard and really needs another dog companion to help him feel confident and at home. While Joey is a good boy who enjoys affection and running around at the dog park, he can be nervous in new places or situations. Familiar surroundings help him come out of his shell, and nothing makes him happier than romping in the yard with his dog friends. He’s house trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines, ready for a forever family willing to give him structure—and a playful canine sibling. By the way, with a February 14th birthday, Joey is an Aquarius, known for having a quirky, loving streak. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
