About Brownie
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Brownie, a sweet Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix who is ready to steal your heart! Born around May 5, 2024, Brownie came into rescue with his sister, both having endured a tough start due to their mama’s life on the streets. Initially, Brownie was shy and hesitant, but with gentle encouragement, he’s beginning to show his more playful and trusting side—he even wags his tail when he feels safe. He absolutely loves canine company and gets along well with other dogs, never showing aggression. Brownie is expected to grow into a large dog, making him a wonderful fit for an active family or a home with another dog to help him blossom and build confidence. Brownie is fully vetted, current on all required preventatives, and has received ProHeart 12 for heartworm protection. He’s a gentle soul who would thrive with a loving, patient family. While Brownie is currently in Texas, he is available for transport to several states, including Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio, Kentucky, or destinations along the East Coast (except Rhode Island and Massachusetts). Could you be the forever family that helps Brownie reach his potential? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
