About One Eyed Jack

One Eyed Jack is quick with a wink and doesn't let his missing eye slow him down for a second. This black and tan Doberman came in needing major eye surgery, but he's bounced back with plenty of stubborn charm and energy. At 4.5 years old, Jack knows what he wants and isn't shy about asking for it — he loves learning new things, chasing a ball, and winding down with a cuddle. He does well with cats and with kids who understand how to behave around dogs. Jack gets excited fast and hates being left alone, so a home with other dogs would suit him best. You’ll need a doggy door to finish this house training journey (he’s making progress), and he absolutely refuses to be crated. Jack can be a bit itchy, so ongoing vet support for his skin would be important. He shouldn’t live with farm animals, but in the right multi-dog family, he’ll be your constant shadow and loyal companion. A confident, experienced adopter who can set boundaries will get the best out of him. If you’re up for an active, big-hearted dog who needs a little structure and a lot of love, Jack could be your guy. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
