About Francis
Francis is a striking 6-year-old Airedale Terrier with a bold black and tan coat who’s hard to miss at 58.0 lbs. He’s a big personality—playful, goofy, and built for companionship. Francis is neutered and comes with plenty of love to give, but he needs a home in AL, GA, NC, SC, or TN with an experienced adopter who can give him structure and routine. He gets along well with other dogs, just not at mealtime, as food makes him a little anxious around his canine pals. No cats, please—Francis needs a feline-free zone to truly relax. He’s never bitten anyone and has no aggression history, but he is best suited for an adult-only home where he can feel secure. Francis was well-loved in his previous home before circumstances changed for his adopter, and now he’s looking for a second chance with someone who understands his needs. Fun fact: Francis, born July 15, is a Cancer—expect a loyal, affectionate companion who thrives on close bonds. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
