The Aussiedoodle is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle, popular in North America for a few decades. Size follows the Poodle parent, from toy and mini dogs under about 30 pounds to standards near 70, and the wavy or curly coat comes in many colors, including merle. The mix isn't standardized, so looks and needs vary from one dog to the next.
Both parents are quick, busy working dogs, so many Aussiedoodles are affectionate, eager to learn and happiest with a job. In Vegas that job might be a morning trail loop, trick training or fetch at a dog park. Without enough activity they can turn restless, vocal or clingy. Plan on professional grooming every six to eight weeks and frequent brushing to prevent mats.
