Meet Porter, a charming 7-year-old Corgi/Beagle mix who’s just a little confused about the whole ‘stray’ situation. 🐶 At around 30 lbs of pure love, he’s been through quite a journey! Picked up by our local dog warden, Porter discovered he had a microchip, but sadly, his previous owners decided they didn’t want him anymore and claimed to have given him away. 😢 Poor baby! But fear not! This sweet soul is adjusting to the wonders of rescue life, and what he truly desires is a forever friend – someone to cuddle up with during those quiet evenings. He’s got that moderate energy (perfect for a nice stroll or a relaxed evening on the couch) and a temperament that just radiates goodness. 🌟 It seems like he’s already house-trained, which is fantastic! 🏠 And while Porter is warming up to friends, he’d really prefer to be the star of the show, so a single animal home would be ideal for him. A fenced yard will also give him plenty of safe space to explore and enjoy the great outdoors! Porter’s not exactly looking to host a canine party, but he does get along with other dogs, although he’s more of a ‘lone ranger’ when it comes to doggy playdates. 🐕 Not tested with cats, so we’ll have to leave that to the imagination! With all his shots up to date and a recent neuter, he’s ready to find his family! Porter hopes to find you soon because he’s got so much love to give.
