🌟 Meet Simon, aka Rebel – the cat who has more stories than most of us! Once a wild wanderer roaming the streets of Eureka, this brave soul faced danger head-on. Can you imagine? One fateful day, Simon sustained a terrible injury – a massive bite wound that compromised his eye and led to an infection. 😢 Thankfully, some concerned neighbors banded together, and with the support of two incredible rescues, Simon was whisked away to safety. After a journey of healing that included the removal of his injured eye, neutering, shots, and being FIV positive (let’s just say he’s a survivor!), he’s now ready for his forever home! 🏡 At around 8-9 years old, Simon has a big heart and a spirit that won’t quit. He’s not quite a lap cat yet – he’s more of a dignified gentleman who likes to keep things at arm’s length while still enjoying a good petting session. 🤗 This independent guy prefers to be the only king of the castle or, at most, share it with one other independent feline who doesn’t mind keeping a respectful distance. He’s a chatty one too, always ready to engage in delightful conversations with his foster caretaker! 😸 And though his life on the streets has been tough, he still dreams of sipping lattes in a peaceful sunbeam rather than facing the harsh outdoors. Simon has an affinity for a stable feeding schedule and a cozy, controlled environment.
