Meet Scratchy, a stunning one-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix with a personality that will charm your socks off! 🌟 This delightful girl was found wandering on Pike Street in Marietta, Ohio, with her dashing buddy Itchy, and brought to the HSOV on December 25, 2025. Fate seems to have a great sense of humor, bringing her to the shelter just in time for some holiday cheer! 🎄 Scratchy boasts a shiny black coat that glistens like midnight, adorned with a pristine white bib on her chest and black-and-white toes that add a sprinkle of pizzazz to her paws. 🖤🤍 With her chubby little muzzle, floppy ears, and captivating dark brown eyes, Scratchy is the definition of adorable! ❤️ When HSOV Volunteer Miley Kiggans took this poised pup from her crate into the shelter lobby on December 27th, Scratchy was a tad bewildered—like a star suddenly thrust into the limelight. But don't worry; she quickly embraced her inner diva! 📸 With a few "good girl" treats from Kennel Tech Avah Day, she struck a pose that would make any supermodel proud! At 56 lbs, she might not be the biggest pup on the block, but she has a heart full of love and a spirit that could light up the world. And let’s not forget, on December 29th, we snapped pics of her rocking a bright plaid jacket, looking cozy and adorable as the temperature dropped a jaw-dropping 40 degrees! 🧥🥶 Now, Scratchy and Itchy were held, as per Ohio law, to give their previous family a chance to come back and reclaim their furry darlings.
