Meet Winston, the delightful little guy with the biggest bat-like ears you’ve ever seen! 🦇 This spirited puppy is full of energy and ready to play, but don’t let that fool you—he's also a cuddle bug who wants to snuggle right next to his human when the day winds down. Winston’s journey began on the loose, leading to his arrival at a local shelter. He might not have had the best start in life, but he’s working tirelessly to catch up and learn how to be a well-mannered companion. In his few months with the wonderful foster family through Save-A-Bull, Winston has blossomed! He’s mastered impressive commands like sit, wait, come, and just recently, down. His foster mom loves to joke that he’s a smart boy, easily bribed with treats—how true is that? 🍖 Winston's curious nature means he loves exploring the world around him. However, that curiosity can sometimes lead to distractions, but with training that emphasizes eye contact, he's learning to focus like the champ he is! Winston has a big heart and loves to spread joy, especially with face kisses for everyone he meets! 👅 However, he's learning that jumping up on people in excitement may not be the best way to say hello; he's been diligently training on his "off" command. Plus, he currently lives with a teenager, and he's found some joy hanging out with younger kids too! He adores his foster family’s older cat—he tries to engage in play, but let’s be real, the cat isn’t always interested! 🐱 He also shares his foster home with two former Save-A-Bull alumni. Winston loves a good run with his herding dog sister, and even though his older Am Staff foster brother can be a little grumpy, he lets Winston snuggle up next to him for some quality Z's. 💤 Winston does have some work to do when it comes to meeting new canine friends; barking in excitement sometimes escapes him, but with his foster mom’s patient guidance, he’s on the path to confidence. This big-eared sweetheart dreams of a family who is both patient and firm, ready to navigate the puppy phase together. A perfect family would engage in plenty of playtime to spend that endless energy, followed by cozy cuddle sessions. ❤️ Winston genuinely wants to be the bestest boy and hopes to receive all the love and training he can get in return.
