Jade is a young German Shepherd who has already been through more than her fair share — and she’s ready for her happy ending. Just days ago, Jade was running scared through the streets after a long, frightening night. Now she’s safe in a temporary foster home, learning what it means to rest, feel protected, and trust again. What she truly needs now is a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can finally settle in and belong. Jade is every bit the classic German Shepherd: loyal, intelligent, and deeply devoted to her people. She loves being close to her humans and will happily follow you from room to room. Once she feels safe, she settles beautifully and soaks up the comfort of being part of a home. As her confidence grows, she’s already showing interest in toys, tug-of-war, and ball time — the kind of play that helps her shine. She’s wonderful with people and would thrive in a home with kids or frequent visitors. Jade does great in the car, walks nicely right by your side, and genuinely just wants to be included in everyday life. Like many young shepherds, she’s still learning home manners and may occasionally test counters, but she’s smart, eager, and very responsive to guidance. Jade doesn’t enjoy being alone and is looking for a family who wants her as part of their world. She will need slow, patient introductions to other animals while she continues to decompress. Jade isn’t asking for perfection — just stability, kindness, and a soft place to finally exhale. In return, she’ll give unwavering loyalty, love, and the kind of bond only a shepherd can offer. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
