After being found as a local stray in January 2023, and not reclaimed, Sugar has been spayed, vaccinated, and is completely up-to-date, ready to bring joy and love into a new home. Sugar has faced some challenges, including a health scare when she first arrived. Poor thing had to undergo emergency exploratory surgery due to an abdominal infection. But guess what? That surgery was a huge success, and our girl bounced back, showing her true fighting spirit! 💪 Since then, she has been on daily medication, Apoquel, for her allergies — which tends to happen with her beautiful coat. Sure, it might be a bit pricey (over $60 a month), but those little itchy spots are no match for Sugar when she’s in her comfy zone! With all the love she has received from the Safe Haven volunteers, it’s safe to say Sugar is a bit spoiled! 🤗 But don’t tell the other pups; we wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings! Now, Sugar would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not exactly the best at sharing her space. But trust us, once you meet her, you'll agree she’s all the pet you truly need!
