She embodies the spirit of a throwaway mama dog who triumphed against the odds, finding her way from a city shelter to a loving rescue. Once a little rough around the edges, Gloria has shed her past, losing weight and clearing up her skin and ear infections. Now, she’s living her best life like the star she is! 🌟 Imagine Gloria as the heartwarming female version of Gloria from Madagascar! This outgoing, confident companion is packed with exuberance and loves to show affection - she is the best friend you didn’t know you needed. Sure, she may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but her joy and passion for life will outshine anyone! Gloria has a medium energy level: she can bounce around with the excitement of a puppy during playtime, but she also knows how to kick back and enjoy some cuddle sessions on the couch. 🛋️ And let’s talk about her velcro level! This lovable pooch thinks she belongs right in your lap, and if she could, she’d crawl inside your skin! Her absolute favorites include people, food (duh!), Kongs, Benebones, and toys – especially when she gets to completely destuff them! 🚗 She’s also a huge fan of car rides, cozy mornings snuggled on the couch, and, of course, those lighthearted walks outside where she proudly delivers those quick wiggles to all. 🌳 Now, she’s working on being a bit less enthusiastic with mouth kisses (yikes!) when things get a little too exciting. Gloria's personality is big on love, so sturdier kids aged 10 and up are advised, as she might unintentionally knock over smaller kiddos in her pursuit for snuggles! 🧒🏼💕 As for furry pals, Gloria prefers being the solo queen of the castle. Although she’s shown good behavior around other dogs and has shared a home with a male dog before, she can feel a tad resource-guardy when it comes to her toys and space. Cats? No problem! This gal has lived amicably with dog-savvy cats! Thanks to our fantastic rescue team, Gloria is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
