Meet Miss Heidi, an American Foxhound around two years old who joined us as a stray. Shelter life can be a lot for her, and she longs for a home with a secure yard and space to roam. Like many hounds, she excels in companionship with other dogs and brings an independent spirit, often requiring some time to warm up before showing affection. An active household would suit her well. Heidi’s previous experiences with children and cats aren’t known, but she likely would do well with kids.
