**Located in New Hampshire** Meet Delilah, a lovely 5-year-old Cavapoo who weighs around 15 pounds. Her early life was spent in a breeding program, which means she has only recently started to experience love and kindness. Delilah's journey is one of healing, and she’s learning to trust humans, albeit slowly. Currently in a caring foster home, she still feels anxious during human interactions. While she allows some gentle touches from her foster mom, she needs time to feel fully secure. Delilah thrives around other animals! She's great with both dogs and cats, and we’re especially looking for a calm, confident dog to help guide her as she gains confidence. It's best to have a quiet home without young children since sudden movements and loud noises can be overwhelming for her. Ideally, a securely fenced yard would allow her to explore gradually as she builds her comfort level. At this stage, Delilah isn't house trained or leash trained. She feels safest in her small, designated space in her foster home where she uses her pee pads successfully. Patience is key for her future family, and we seek someone experienced with fearful dogs who understands the importance of small steps. Delilah has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. This adorable girl has the potential for a brighter future filled with love, and she deserves a family that will celebrate her progress every step of the way.
