Meet Freyja, a delightful 1-year-old mixed breed girl who weighs 57 lbs. She once called our rescue home as a puppy but has returned due to a change in her living situation. A young child in her previous home played too rough, and the family needed to move to an apartment that didn't provide enough space for Freyja to thrive. This energetic girl loves to have fun and can get a bit mischievous if bored, so she needs a lively environment. Freyja is affectionate, playful, and curious—definitely a lapdog at heart! While she enjoys cuddles, she also needs supervision around small animals, as she has a history of chasing them and does not get along with cats. Larger dogs, on the other hand, are just fine; she’s lived with them happily. Whether it's tug-o-war or fetch, Freyja is always up for a game and loves treats like Milkbones. She's house trained but may have accidents if left alone for long stretches. The ideal home for her would feature a backyard and older kids who understand her playful nature.
