About Dirtbag

Meet Dirtbag! Yes, you read that right. His name is Dirtbag, but he is anything but unlovable. A few years ago, this charming boy showed up on a porch in heartbreaking condition—skinny, covered in fleas and ticks, and in desperate need of a second chance. Thankfully, he found a loving family who transformed his life. Dirtbag is full of joy, sporting one of the loudest purrs you'll ever hear. He adores being showered with affection, loves to cuddle, and will curl up at your feet in bed for some extra warmth. His adventurous spirit shines through when he's outside, rolling in the grass and enjoying the great outdoors. Previously, he had a microchip-activated door that let him come and go freely, allowing him to explore and then return inside for some snuggles. Due to the arrival of a new dog with a strong prey drive, Dirtbag's family has had to make the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can thrive again. This is a cat who is loved greatly, and his family wants only the best for him. Dirtbag would thrive in a dog-free home and needs a family ready to offer him plenty of enrichment and safe access to outdoor spaces—whether that’s through a secure catio or an enclosed yard. He is also fully litter trained, adjusting well to new environments and enjoys being pampered, though he prefers to skip the belly rubs! Dirtbag can even bring some of his favorite belongings to help him settle into his new home, including his cat tree and toys. This adorable cat went from being a stray to being somebody's whole world. Now he’s on a journey to start anew. Who can provide this affectionate boy the safe and loving life he deserves?
