Meet Teddy! At 12 years young and just 11.6 pounds, this little gentleman is full of sweetness. Teddy is a West Highland White Terrier, known for his soft coat and even softer heart. He came to CAWS as a stray from a rural Utah shelter, and after some essential medical care and recovery, he's doing fantastic! Teddy is house-trained and crate-trained, but he'd prefer not to spend long hours in a crate. Having a foster family that works from home means he enjoys regular opportunities to go outside. He's friendly with dogs of all sizes and isn’t much of a barker. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch or spending leisurely time in the yard, Teddy is all about comfort. He’s looking for a quiet, loving home where he can thrive during his golden years. Teddy isn’t suited for a rowdy household or a home with young children. His vision is impaired, so a home with few or no stairs is essential, along with a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time. Teddy deserves simple things: a safe home and unconditional love.
