About Darcy

Darcy is a lovely American Staffordshire Terrier who joined Sunny Pits Rescue in August after a tough journey from California. Previously a confiscation case, she narrowly escaped euthanasia, thanks to the dedication of her rescuers. Although she faced neglect, including several botched c-sections, Darcy has made a remarkable recovery since being spayed. She is approximately 3 years old, has a short coat, and is a beautiful yellow-tan color. Her past experiences haven't dimmed her spirit; she adores people and shows remarkable affection, always eager to please. Darcy gets along well with children and is bilingual—she understands commands in both English and Spanish! However, she can be selective with cats and other dogs. This sweet girl loves to cuddle and is often a couch potato, ready to relax with her forever family. Don't miss the chance to welcome this sweet and loving companion into your home.
