About Roxanne

Meet Roxanne, affectionately known as Roxy. This sweet girl, around 5 months old and weighing 31 lbs, was found wandering with her siblings in Portsmouth, Ohio. While her exact breed remains a mystery, she likely has some Boxer in her. Roxy radiates calmness and charm. She's friendly with both people and other dogs, and though she hasn't been around cats, her foster home has shown no signs of a prey drive. Roxy has the demeanor of a mature dog, lacking the typical puppy energy, yet she still enjoys her walks, playful chases, and the occasional burst of zoomies. Currently, she's working on potty training, leash skills, and crate training. She loves snuggling up with her humans and sinking into a cozy dog bed. Roxy also appreciates engaging with rope toys and jumping into leaf piles for some fun. This gentle soul would thrive in a home where her family is present often. She is addressing some separation anxiety, but she’s improving day by day. Rainy weather isn’t her favorite, but she dreams of a forever home filled with cuddles and comfortable spots to rest. Roxy is scheduled for spaying soon and is available for adoption through Rico Pet Recovery in Columbus, Ohio. Are you ready to welcome this lovely girl into your life?
