About Zeus

Zeus is a friendly and loving 1.5-year-old dog, a mix of Boxer and Bloodhound, who is eager to find a new family. His previous owner faced financial difficulties and made the tough choice to surrender him. While he can be a bit nervous in unfamiliar situations, he warms up quickly and thrives in a loving environment. This large boy has proven to be great with cats, dogs, children, and adults alike, showing no signs of food or toy aggression. He is crate trained and housebroken, although he will need some guidance walking on a leash. Zeus knows commands like sit, stay, high five, and shake, and has a knack for giving kisses. Just a little reminder now and then helps him follow through. Zeus enjoys playing with toys, though he tends to chew through some of them given his enthusiastic nature. He’s also sensitive to food changes; a diet that caters to his tummy is a must. This affectionate guy is known by endearing nicknames, like Boozie and Zeusie, and he is ready to share his love with you! The adoption fee for Zeus is sponsored, making this your opportunity to bring home a loving companion. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all adopted pets will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Drop by during open hours or call for more information; they can’t wait to help you find your new best friend!
