About Hobbes

Meet Hobbes, a year-old mixed breed Corgi who came to us as a stray from Southern Virginia, along with his brother. Hobbes is the smaller and more laid-back of the two, often seeking out sunny spots for naps with his favorite toy after enjoying some belly rubs. He loves a game of fetch, especially when you’re down on the floor with him. While he has had minimal training, Hobbes shows a strong eagerness to please, making him a great candidate for obedience classes. He has tested well with dogs of all sizes and gets along nicely with people, although he can be a bit mouthy, which is why we recommend him for older children or those familiar with young dogs. He hasn't been tested with cats yet. To meet Hobbes or any of our other dogs, please fill out an application.
