Found abandoned in East Texas, he has quickly become a loving companion during his time in foster care. Whiskey enjoys moderate activity; he loves playing with other dogs but isn’t an instigator. Instead, he prefers cuddling with people or going for leisurely walks. He’s crate-trained and housebroken, but being a young pup, he still needs supervision to avoid mischief. Ideally, Whiskey would thrive in a household with a young, active male dog who can be both a playmate and a leader. Although he’s expected to grow to between 50 and 60 pounds, his gentle demeanor makes him great around children. He would benefit from a home with a privacy fence and a yard to play in, as he continues to work on leash training. Whiskey is eager to please and responds well to praise and treats.
