About Seymour

Meet Seymour! Seymour is a 13-year-old Pit Bull/Hound mix with a bit of a journey behind him. After being adopted from our shelter around 4–5 years ago, he recently found himself back in our care. This transition has been tough for him, and we want to see him enjoy his golden years in a loving home where he feels safe and cherished. Affectionate and playful, Seymour loves playing fetch and splashing in water. Although he can be timid at first, he warms up quickly once he feels secure. He is great with children of all ages but needs a home without cats or small dogs due to his high prey drive. Additionally, he may chew when bored and has a history of escaping, so a secure environment with enrichment is essential. Seymour deserves a chance to relax and be a beloved companion after spending time in a shelter. Could you be the one to provide him that loving home? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
