About Fifi

Meet Fiorina, a gentle soul with a bright future ahead. This sweet girl, a Young female Whippet and Black Labrador Retriever mix, currently resides in Columbia, MD. Weighing around 30 lbs, Fiorina is not just easy on the eyes with her shiny black coat and short fur; she's also house-trained and eager to please. Fiorina has faced many challenges, having been abandoned in St. Lucia before her rescue. After experiencing seizures, she was flown to the U.S. for essential medical care, where she was diagnosed with a treatable condition. With her foster family's support, she's been seizure-free for over three months, and they’ve even raised enough funds to cover her medication for an entire year. While Fiorina doesn't have any special needs, her new family will need to keep up with her veterinary care and prescribed treatment. This affectionate girl thrives with other dogs and would love a home with a friendly canine companion. She's wonderful around children and gets along with both dogs and cats. Fiorina longs for a stable routine, regular activity, and, most importantly, a loving family who will cherish her forever. Fiorina has truly earned her second chance at lifeβ€”could you be the family she’s been waiting for?
