Meet Archer! This charming 12-year-old male cat is a Domestic Short Hair with a black tabby coat. He came to the shelter with his friend Syril after their family could no longer care for them due to medical reasons. Archer experiences separation anxiety and would thrive in a loving, patient home where he can feel secure. Archer is a low-maintenance, gentle soul. He prefers a slower pace and enjoys independence, yet he needs plenty of companionship and attention. While he's friendly with dogs and other cats, introductions are recommended to ensure comfort. A home with older kids would be ideal for Archer. The best environment for him provides security and stability, helping him gradually overcome his anxiety. We're hopeful to see Archer and Syril adopted together, as that would give them both the comfort of a familiar friend. This loving cat is waiting for the right family to give him a cozy forever home.
