Meet Maddie! She is nine years old, gloriously fluffy, and wearing that wild hair like the distinguished senior she absolutely is. Maddie is a Shih Tzu with a spectacular dark, flowing coat that clearly has its own agenda and honestly we are here for it. She is making her way to Maine on November 7th, and at nine years old she is bringing a lifetime of sweetness with her and asking only for a soft, quiet place to finally exhale. Senior dogs like Maddie know things younger dogs are still figuring out. How to be still. How to be present. How to love someone steadily and without condition. She is not looking for adventure. She is looking for a warm lap, a gentle hand, and a home that feels like hers. Maddie deserves exactly that. And the person who gives it to her is going to wonder how their home ever felt complete without her in it. Adoption Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TGD/Dog
