Poor Lucy was surrendered to the shelter by her owners of 4 years with an injury they said they couldn't afford to pay. She was put on the euthanasia list, but we were able to step in and rescue her. Lucy is a mild-mannered, sweet, very affectionate dog. Cuddling is her favorite thing in the world and she loves to curl up on the couch with you or put her head on your lap while you're working. Inside the home she is fully housebroken, crate trained, and generally very quiet (unless a delivery driver overstays his welcome!). Outside the home, Lucy is still working on her confidence. She'd do best in a home in a quiet neighborhood with a person who is ok not taking her everywhere and just hanging out at home. Lucy has SO much love in her. When you look in her brown eyes, you can feel just how much she is grateful to be safe and cared for.
