Meet Bartholomew, one of the most gorgeous, lovable puppies around! This handsome little guy has already overcome so much in his short life, and now he’s ready to find the forever family he deserves! Bartholomew originally came to us from a Fresno shelter with what appeared to be a small cut under his armpit. Unfortunately, further examination revealed something much more serious: a severely broken leg! Thankfully, after six weeks of strict rest and recovery, his fracture has healed beautifully, and we’re thrilled that he won’t have to lose his leg! Now that his difficult start is behind him, Bartholomew is ready for his next chapter. He’s an absolutely gorgeous, low-shedding puppy with a soft coat, an adorable chunky little body, and a personality that’s impossible not to love. Currently weighing approximately 15 pounds, we estimate he could reach around 25 pounds when fully grown, although that’s just our best guess. Bartholomew is naturally a laid-back, easygoing little guy who enjoys relaxing and taking life at his own pace. But don’t let his lazy side fool you! He’s still a puppy who needs plenty of playtime, exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to learn and explore as he grows. Like most puppies his age, Bartholomew has absolutely no training yet. He’s looking for a patient, committed family ready to tackle potty training, basic obedience, socialization, and all the other important foundations that help puppies become wonderful adult dogs. His ideal home will have a house with a yard, an active family willing to invest in his success, and ideally another friendly, playful dog to help him build confidence and learn the ropes. Given his previous injury, his family should also be mindful of his recovery and follow any veterinary recommendations as he returns to normal puppy activities. Bartholomew has already been through more than any puppy should have to endure, but his future is looking incredibly bright! He’s a sweet, handsome, easygoing boy who deserves a lifetime of love, stability, and happiness. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, cuddly, low-shedding companion with a heart of gold, Bartholomew might just be your perfect match! Adoption Fee: $600 This covers neuter, rabies vaccination, DAPP vaccinations, microchip, flea prevention, and deworming.
