Meet Bernice, a stunning harlequin beauty with one gorgeous blue eye, long legs, and a personality just as special as her looks! Bernice recently arrived from the Fresno area with her siblings, where they were sadly at risk of euthanasia simply due to overcrowding. Thankfully, this beautiful girl got her second chance, and now she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! At just four months old, Bernice is a tall, lanky, adorably awkward puppy with a striking harlequin coat and a beautiful blue eye that makes her truly one of a kind. We estimate she’ll grow to be somewhere between 50 and 80 pounds when fully grown. Bernice is a wonderful combination of laid-back and playful. She’s naturally a bit of a couch potato who enjoys lounging around, but she also has a goofy, fun-loving side that will keep you smiling. She’s sweet, affectionate, eager to please, and ready to learn everything life has to offer. Like her siblings, Bernice has had very little training and is starting from scratch. She’ll need a patient, committed family willing to teach her basic manners, continue her socialization, and provide plenty of structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Bernice is currently being fostered with other dogs and children and is doing fantastic! She’s adjusting beautifully to family life and showing what a wonderful companion she can become. Her ideal home will have a house with a yard, an active lifestyle, and a family committed to daily exercise, training, and socialization. While she may be an easygoing puppy, she’s going to grow into a large dog who will need continued guidance, enrichment, and plenty of love.
