MEET FETCHENSTEIN! STATS: 1 year old, neutered, Boxer Mix, 52 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: My name is Fetchy and I am here for the cuddles! I might seem a little shy at first but give me 0.4 seconds to sniff you and then I am a wiggle monster! I have a great mix of puppy energy with a side of snuggly cuteness that makes me the perfect balance. I am very affectionate and I love to lay my big head in your lap! WHAT I LOVE: I love playing with other dogs and running – stretching my long legs is one of my favorite things to do! After I get some puppy energy out, I get so excited to get all the belly scratches and pets I deserve. I love playing ball, though I haven’t mastered the concept of bringing it back just yet. I am such a smart boy and I am eager to learn, so I will pick it up in no time! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the shelter staff thinks I would do well with kids who are kind and respectful toward me and understand my puppy energy. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and love other dogs. I go to playgroup at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I would be a great match someone in need of a sweet and loyal best friend! I would do wonderfully with another dog, though that’s not a need, and I would settle right in to a loving home. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
