MEET DONNIE! STATS: 1 Year Old, neutered, Carolina Dog Mix, 30 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: Ready or not, here I come! My name is Donnie and I am here to quite literally bounce into your life! I’ve got springs on the bottom of my feet and I don’t care who knows it!!!I am the happiest, most playful, fun-loving little guy with energy that would make the Energizer Bunny look chill. I am so happy all the time, you can’t help but smile when you see me hop around the yard! WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE TO PLAY! I love playing with other dogs, people, toys, everything and everyone who will play with me! I don’t just bring the party – I AM the party! I never stop smiling and I do a really wonderful job of matching the playstyle of other pups. We roll and jump and fall over each other in the play yard, grinning from ear to ear! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would do well with kids that are kind and respectful towards me. I have a lot of puppy energy, so kids would have to be understanding of my excitement and playfulness. OTHER DOGS: I enjoy spending time with other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I am still a young pup and I am learning how to be a dog. I would benefit from someone who will give me time, patience, and a structured environment where I can continue to learn and grow. I would benefit from having another pup to show me the ropes and keep me entertained because I LOVE to play! I am a super sweet and affectionate boy, so I need a family that will love me and give me the best life! SPECIAL NOTE: The staff thinks I might be part bunny rabbit!
