Meet **Cate!** A 2-year-old American Bulldog/Australian Cattle Dog mix with plenty of personality, a whole lot of love to give, and a very specific idea of what her perfect home looks like. Cate is incredibly smart, affectionate, playful, and eager to learn. She knows several commands, loves a good game of fetch or tug, and when she's happy, her entire back end gets in on the excitement. We call that her signature Wiggle Butt! Cate recently had a professional training evaluation. She showed a friendly demeanor, soft eyes, took treats gently, enjoyed affection, and was easily redirected by her handler with an eye-contact command when another dog approached. She's a quick learner with typical cattle dog tendencies, and her trainer believes getting started with clear direction and consistency in her next home will be important. Because of her reported history and intensity around other animals, her trainer strongly recommends that Cate be the **only pet in the home.** **Cate's ideal home:** - An experienced, confident dog owner. - No other dogs or cats. - No children under 16. - Someone who enjoys an active dog and is committed to continued training. - A home willing to provide structure, consistency, and appropriate redirection.
