MEET FRED! Fred is just 6 months old and already knows that life hasn't always been fair. This sweet Blue Heeler mix came into rescue after being dumped as a baby. But his story is getting a whole new beginning! Fred weighs 25 lbs, has been neutered, and is up to date on preventions. This boy is SMART! He is eager to please his person and loves both people and his puppy dog friends. He's doing great with crate training and has been keeping his crate clean, although he's still learning how to handle longer periods alone. Fred walks great on a leash but is just as happy running around a yard burning off that puppy energy. One of his favorite things? Simply laying outside, soaking up the sunshine. He's still learning about cats and understanding that they need their personal space. His $500 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. Currently in La.
