About Ophelia

Meet Ophelia, a lovely calico who found her way to the shelter as a stray. Rescued by kindhearted individuals who tried to locate her family, she was brought in for medical care, including vaccinations and spay surgery, to prepare her for a new home. Though she can be a bit shy and often prefers her cozy cubby, Ophelia has a gentle side that comes out with a little encouragement. She's known to lean into head scratches and gives sweet headbutts when she feels comfortable. With patience and love, she’s ready to learn to trust her new family. Ophelia might do well in a home with other pets following a slow introduction. Come visit her at the Santa Cruz location, where their shelter hours are 11 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week. Make sure to arrive before 4 PM for meet-and-greets!
