Big, goofy, sweet, and always on the lookout for snacks, Max reminds us so much of Scooby-Doo! At 5 months old, he has a lovable personality, a curious mind, and a little bit of a cautious shy hide behind you and peek out side when something is completely new or may seem scary. Max is the kind of pup who will run right up to say hello, but may need a few minutes before he’s comfortable enough to really lean in for all the pets and belly rubs he loves (also a big butt scratch kinda guy!). He’s inquisitive, loving, and alert, always interested in whatever is happening around him. Once he gets comfortable, his happy, goofy personality really starts to shine. Max and siblings were found abandoned in a yard with their mama and brought into rescue together. Given everything these puppies have been through, we completely understand that new environments and unfamiliar experiences can take a little time. Max may need a few days to settle in, and get familiar with his surroundings to show his adopter the full, silly, affectionate pup we know and love. Max has a very short coat, mostly white coloring, black ears, and one black eye with a little half-tan eyebrow peeking through. He is listed as a Cattle Dog/Lab mix, although his exact breed mix is unknown and may include a combination of herding and other breeds like a border collie or maybe touch of Great Pyrenees. He is already approximately 50 lbs at just 5 months old and is expected to grow into a large adult dog! Vet Care: Max has been receiving his age-appropriate vaccines and deworming. His neuter and microchip are being completed as part of his adoption preparation. Max is ready for a family who will appreciate his big personality, give him time to adjust when the world feels a little overwhelming, and make room for plenty of snacks, affection, and goofy adventures. He has all the makings of one very special companion! Apply to adopt Max: https://airtable.com/appklteyg5w2e0fmu/shrY8RxQc1KxQYCuv Glenolden, PA 19036 KL#19083
